Agentic Coding for SMEs

AI agents in everyday business: a compact introduction

AI agents no longer just write code snippets: they read files, run programs, check their own results and carry out multi-step tasks largely on their own. What is currently transforming everyday work at software companies is within reach for small and medium-sized businesses too: the Excel report that is still done by hand every month, the data export between two systems, the small internal tool there was never budget for.

In this compact workshop we show live how agentic coding works, where it already helps reliably today and where it doesn't (yet). No programming skills are needed: we work on practical examples from everyday office life and talk openly about data protection, costs and limitations.

Topics

  • From chatbot to agent: What is agentic coding?
  • Live demo: an agent automates a real office task
  • Typical use cases in SMEs: reports, data imports, analyses, small internal tools
  • Overview of the tools
  • Data protection, GDPR and EU hosting: what matters
  • Limitations, risks and how to check results
  • First steps: Which processes in your own company are a good fit?

Requirement: None. The course is aimed at management, specialists and team leads, and anyone who wants to improve processes in their company. If you want to go further afterwards: we also support companies with the actual implementation.
